Delete your account or data
In the app
Open About Nightly → Account → Delete account. You may be asked to sign in again. This deletes your Nightly account, its Google identifier and all account sessions. It does not delete your Google account.
Without the app
Email houdrizvee@gmail.com to request deletion. Tell us whether you want your account, reading history, usage records, or all of them deleted. Include your Nightly installation ID if you have it (shown in About Nightly), and your Google sign-in email if requesting account deletion. We will verify ownership before deleting data; never send a password or sign-in token.
What stays and what goes
Account deletion removes the account and its sign-in sessions. Reading history is separate and stays on your device, including after sign-out. To remove the server's installation, history and usage records too, request data deletion. Turning Share usage off also requests deletion of usage records without deleting your account or streak.
Local data is not remotely erased: clear app storage to remove it from your device. Cloudflare recovery backups may retain deleted database records for up to 30 days; operational logs expire within seven days. Beta group membership is managed separately through Google Groups.
